This was a day that I decided I'd just photograph ONE outfit.
I received SO many compliments on this outfit that it turned into conversation and when you don't have many opportunities to connect with others in person, I welcomed it (and of course, compliments are always nice too).
Ulla Popken is one of my top go-tos for plus size fashion and easy pairing ideas for outfits in plus size.
This was something that I typically don't wear- black on black- I love color so much but I wanted to try something a little different. I loved the ethereal vibe this cardigan gives especially with the added fringe detail. Photographing this at Golden Gardens beach in Seattle on a typical Pacific Northwest gloomy day was the best combination ever.
This is an Ulla Popken long black heavier weight cardigan, paired with a black dress from another brand I've had in my closet for years.
I love adding in my older things with newer things when it makes sense to.

One thing I am greatful for already in 2024 is a constant cute wardrobe. I've always loved fashion and Ulla Popken always has something that I can imagine where I'd want to photograph it, what life I want to live in it & the mood/vibe I want to create to share.
This particular outfit wasn't flashy or bold, but it is slightly edgy and interesting like an art piece. This is called the Fringe sleeve Extra long cardigan and it's arms remind me of a crow in the best way. The sleeves ballooned out at the bottom, something I LOVE as I feel it gives it a more regal look and the feel of it is comforting and cozy. There is a two button closure at the top of the deep v - neck which I used for this particular look, I didn't like the open look and wouldn't wear it that way in any style, it works great buttoned but didn't lay the way I'd like it to if it was open. It has a long interesting silhouette and everything combined makes this cardigan super unique. It's all in the details.
